For anyone tied down by the Monday-through-Friday convention of the working world, three-day weekends are nothing short of a godsend. A mixture of students and full-time workers ourselves, we seized this past Memorial Day by taking a road trip from Huntington Beach, California, up to a lesser known province of the Bay Area-the East Bay-for 72 hours of skateboarding and all-around fun. Though each skater focused on individual projects (Tom Karangelov for Zero’s Cold War, Trevor McClung for Plan B’s upcoming video, and Ben Woosley for a Mag Minute), we were still able to collect enough footage for a quick edit featuring warm-ups and random hijinks from the trip for your viewing pleasure. -Matt Bublitz
