Taki gość jest potrzebny w każdym mieście, osoba, która będzie inicjować i motywować innych do pomocy w budowaniu nowych skate spotów. Jerry poświęcił mnóstwo swojego czasu i pieniędzy na budowaniu, naprawianiu i wyszukiwaniu nowych miejsc, które można poprawić by były w pełni zdatne do jazdy. Zdziwicie się za ile znanych wam miejscówek odpowiedzialny jest właśnie on. Dlatego kto ma zajawę niech spróbuje zrobić coś podobnego u siebie w mieście, to nie jest takie trudne, wystarczy zacząć.

Whether you know it or not, you have probably seen or skated a spot built by Jerry Mraz. Over the last decade, Jerry has been creating skatespots throughout the 5 boroughs, pouring concrete in the middle of the night and tinkering with obstacles – all on his own dime. Many of his spots have come and gone, but some of his most recognized work, like the BQE, still remains standing and is famous among skateboarders throughout the world. While these days he has been spending more of his time actually riding his skateboard, he assured us that he would not be slowing down modifying spots anytime soon. Continuing our Locals series, we drove around and took a DIY spot tour of NYC with him and documented his story with support of Levi’s Skateboarding.
