Shortly after the release of the Static II video in 2004, a few of us still had a heavy travel bug that we couldn’t shake. And we soon found ourselves planning a new trip. Cohorts Paul Shier, Kenny Reed, Kenny Hughes and Josh Stewart set out to find a new destination even more bizarre than Cairo…..so naturally, they picked Transylvania. Starting in Sofia, Bulgaria, they traveled by train through the night into Romania and eventually settling in the province of Transylvania. Visiting Dracula’s castle wasn’t the scariest part of the trip, though…finding skatespots was. A lot of this footage never got used so we put together some highlights for this little flashback edit to 15 years ago. Featuring skateboarding in Bulgaria and Romania.
