Ja to ledwo zdążyłem się ogarnąć po wyjeździe do Neapolu, a ekipa Vansa już zdążyła przygotować oficjalną relację z najlepszymi trickami jakie poszły w ten weekend. Poziom jak widać był niesamowity, kto by nie chciał tak latać? :)

Sunday, May 11th saw the qualifying rounds of the Vans „Off The Wall” Spring Classic erupt with a relentless barrage of heavy tricks going down in the Bay of Naples.

Dzięki współpracy z moją ulubioną firmą deskorolkową Vans będę miał możliwość po raz drugi pojawić się na zawodach Vans Spring Classic, które tym razem odbędą się w Neapolu. W zeszłym roku wszystko działo się w malutkiej mieścinie Varazze gdzie i tak było zajebiście, a event odwiedziła niewyobrażalna liczba ludzi. Całość odbędzie się w weekend 9-11 maja, będziecie mogli całość śledzić na żywo na ido, a ja będę na miejscu próbując was przekonać, że to właśnie ta firma robi najbardziej zajawkowe wydarzenia w skate branży. The Vans „Off The Wall” Spring Classic has established itself as something of a hot date in the Italian calendar, and an event that is not to be missed for the European skateboarding scene. Located right on the coast and offering an awesome fusion of sun, sand, sea and inspired mini ramp riding, the event successfully mixes Californian spirit with Italian flair. Over the past five years, this combination has created what has undoubtedly become one of the most laid back and enjoyable events in skateboarding, and the perfect opener to the contest season. For five years, the little Ligurian town of Varazze has been a fantastic host to the Vans „Off The Wall” Spring Classic, but for 2014, we’re mixing it up a little…and heading south. As we bid 'arrivederci’ to Varazze, we say 'salve’ to Napoli! Grab your board and pack your sunblock, as it’s going to be one hell of a weekend.

Dwie oficjalne relacje z zajebistego eventu jakim był Vans Spring Classic, który miał miejsce w zeszły weekend we włoskim Varazze. Miałem możliwość uczestniczenia w tym wydarzeniu i nie ukrywam, że to był jeden z najlepszych weekendów jaki mogłem spędzić w deskorolkowy sposób. Trzy dni poświęcone stricte deskorolce, mnóstwo niesamowitych deskorolkowców, koncerty, imprezy i cały ten klimat sprawia, że po prostu chce się żyć. Powyżej relacja czysto deskorolkowa, możecie zobaczyć mnóstwo chorych tricków, które poszły w trakcie Spring Classic, a w klipie poniżej możecie się choć trochę wczuć jak całość wyglądała z 'lifestyle’owej’ strony.

Over the weekend of May 3rd – 5th, thousands of skaters, rock fans and spectators flocked to the small town of Varazze on the Ligurian coast for a taste of the Californian lifestyle, as the Vans Off The Wall Spring Classic celebrated its 5th year anniversary.
Already infamous for some of the best miniramp skating that Europe has to offer, great music and good times, not to mention the stunning beachside setting, this years Off The Wall Spring Classic promised to be epic.
With the cities of Milan, Genoa and Nice all nearby, skaters, press and visitors flew in from all over the Europe to be greeted by the Fiat Freestyle Team cars, who brought them right to the beach in time for a warm up on the ramp before the accolade of ‘Best Miniramp Trick’ was dealt out. With some great riding going down already, it was a hotly contested event. One of the first arrivals, Denmark’s Dannie Carlsen took to the ramp quickly, and it paid off as his half cab blunt 360 kickflip out saw him walk away with a 250EUR cheque. As newly crowned Dutch Champ, Daan Vanderlinden’s frontside nosegrind down the spine feature was another winner, as was Chris Gregson’s frontside flip disaster backside revert and a frontside noseblunt backside revert from Mason Merlino saw all four win cash prizes.
