Mixing the fellow tall-guy finesse of Brian Anderson, raw power of AVE, and determination of Heath Kirchart, Zero‘s newest recruit, John Fitzgerald, slays all types of terrain like few can. After he shot some of the gnarliest photos we’ve seen in a long time for his “Make Or Die” Roll Call in our December issue, we had John back it all up in person and come down to our park for a day. And, well, people still don’t believe those wallride marks are real. Make or die, John. Make or die.

With Kenny’s style and versatility, he was the perfect candidate to do an Archival Challenge. We pulled out a box of mags ranging from 1986 to 2007. Kenny put his skills to the test with judo airs, backside Smith grinds, and even a sketchy blunt fakie on our volcano. You might even say he was the perfect man for the job.
